Who we are

Rune is made by Helgi Þór Jóhannsson, Hraunbær 35, 810 Hveragerði, Iceland. You can reach us at [email protected].

Who can join

Rune is for people 18 and over. By subscribing you confirm you are.

What you pay

Rune costs $29 a month. PayPal charges it every month, starting when you subscribe, until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time, in your PayPal account (under automatic payments) or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next payment.

Getting your Rune

We set each Rune up by hand at first, so it can take a little while after you subscribe. We email you as soon as yours is ready.

Refunds

You can change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, for any reason, and get that payment back in full. Just email us.

What we keep about you

Your first name, your email, the email on your PayPal account, and PayPal's reference number for your subscription and whether it is active. We use them to run your subscription, set up your Rune, and tell you when it is ready. Nothing else.

If you left your name and email on this page before monthly sign-up opened, we keep those only to tell you the day you can start.

We never see your card or bank details. PayPal handles the payment under its own privacy policy.

Your details are stored on our own server in the EU. We don't sell them or share them with anyone. This site uses no tracking and no advertising cookies.

You can ask us at any time to see what we have about you, correct it, or delete it.

Rune itself

Rune is an AI, not a person, and it tells you so at the start of every chat. It runs on Claude, made by Anthropic, and follows Anthropic's Usage Policy. By using Rune you agree to follow that policy too.

Rune can help you understand health, legal and money questions, but it isn't a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser. For decisions that matter, check with one.
